May Artist of the Month
Our Artist of the Month for May is Watercolorist Vicki Glynn.
Award winning artist Vicki Glynn has been painting the beauty of Southwest Florida since she and her husband moved there from Illinois in 1980. Her watercolors have been called “soft Realism” depicting birds, fish, mangroves, beaches, back bay fish shacks, garden paths, with many set in our beautiful Florida sunset or sunrise colors. Her process involves layers of light, dark and color creating texture and shapes to interpret nature’s tapestry. Her intention is to depict that natural beauty in our world to uplift, inspire and bring joy. In addition, Vicki has been an active participant in the local arts, conservation, and business communities for many years
