December Artist of the Month, Thelma Daida

​Our Artist of the Month for December is abstract painter Thelma Daida. 

Thelma lived in tropical climates most of her life and learned to appreciate and enjoy bright, vivid colors and tropical plant life.  When producing her art, she experiments with fluid acrylics, often layering over watercolor pieces. This process, by merging both, has created results that Thelma feels produce paintings that are interesting and colorful with depth and even depict mystery to the viewer’s eye. Thelma is a signature member of the
Suncoast Watercolor Society and Florida Watercolor Society.
