March Guest Artist Stew Rowles

We are pleased to be featuring the pottery of Guest Artist Stew Rowles during the month of March.  Stew has been working and teaching in the field of clay art for 20 years.  While working with some wood firing artists, he came to appreciate the special aesthetics of flame on clay.  Recently, he has been focusing on Raku and experimenting with different firing techniques.  He especially likes the increased control of the firing process, and the resulting uniqueness of each pot.
