Our November Guest Artist is potter Daisy Erdmann

Daisy Erdmann is a ceramic artist who began working with clay in 1998 while studying at Harper College in Palatine, Illinois. There, she explored design, ceramics, drawing, sculpture, and art history, earning an Associate of Arts degree in 2001.

Over the years, Daisy has practiced in multiple studios across the Chicagoland area, where her work was showcased at both Harper College and Trinity. These experiences shaped a style that balances form, function, and artistic expression, grounded in a respect for craft and an openness to experimentation.

Now living in Florida, Daisy continues to refine her practice in a Punta Gorda studio. Whether creating functional vessels or sculptural pieces, she sees pottery as more than objects — each work is an invitation to connection, reflection, and beauty in everyday life.

Artist’s Statement:

Through diverse art forms, I honor my father’s courageous battle with cancer and Alzheimer’s, and celebrate the inspiration he sparked in me to share my creative vision, spreading joy and uplifting others through my art.
