February Guest Artist Matt Logan

Matthew Logan, 45-year Charlotte County resident, was gifted pottery lessons by his wife nearly 4 years ago. His dedication to learn the craft of creating a good pot was born on day one. Inspired by the historical functional wares of Japan and England as well as his love of the natural world he has tried to hone his skills with a focus on form and function.
Matthew works on his ceramics part time. His intent is to continue refining his craft to enable him to push his forms in both scale and detail. He enjoys sharing his passion for pottery and people’s reaction to using handcrafted wares. One day Matt hopes to be able to share his knowledge and offer guidance as generously as his mentors at local pottery studio Clay Dreamz.
